Thanks to the generosity of the local community, during the 2011 Toys for Tots campaign, 15065 toys were distributed to 6888 less fortunate children in this area. We look forward to working with everyone again in 2012. Thank you.

Your Toys-for-Tots program is administered by the Marines of MCL Detachment 819.

The vast majority of our toys collected are given to the agencies below for distribution. They maintain a data base of the recipients of the toys.

* You must be a citizen of Citrus County to qualify for toys collected through Toys-for-Tots.

For the past eight years we have issued the following CHALLENGE. Show us a child who had not recieved a toy for Christmas. No one to date has ever come forth to claim the challenge. It is virtually impossible for any child who is a resident of Citrus County to be denied the Magic of Christmas. We the Marines of Detachment 819 will not fail in providing toys to any needy child of our county. We maintain a reserve of resources to make this possible. No child will go without!
